| The Cali Zuzu brand is a story of love, mother and daughter. Zuzu started making handmade dolls for her daughter Cali, during COVID-19 lockdown. As a form of meditation for her, and fun for her daughter. One day, after being told to learn a crochet style called "Amigurumi", Zuzu learned and her crafting life changed. Making her a better crochet maker.
Encouraged by friends to make custom things, they offered her money for these quality handcrafted dolls. Soon, realizing the potential for making additional income while having fun making them, Zuzu committed to becoming a doll maker. As a new opportunity for her and her family, the production of dolls began.
Zuzu started her first business at the Marietta Artisan Market in December 2020. Though challenging due to COVID-19, her experiences interacting with people was amazing. She was able to see happy faces, and all the customers were impressed with her craftsmanship and encouraged her to expand her business with new ideas.
Now she is the successful owner of Cali Zuzu with a huge family behind her and can't wait to make more happy little faces.
